Ben 

Hello, My name is Ben and I am a freshman at BUHS. I first discovered NEYT when my mom showed me an article in the paper about auditions for Jack and the Devil's 3 Golden Hairs. I was intrigued, so I went to the audition with no prior acting experience, and I got cast as the Devil. I have been in 12 shows since then, including Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Love's Labour's Lost, Buried Child, and Anthony and Cleopatra. My favorite role out of all the plays I've been in was probably Vince in Buried Child, because I felt like I really got into that character, and also because of the cast and director. That play was one of the best plays I have ever seen, and I was lucky to be a part of it. Apart from NEYT I play multiple sports, including baseball, football, and basketball. Since sports at a high school level take such a big time commitment, during the last two years I have just done the summer Shakespear show, and played sports the rest of the year. Ever since my first day at rehersal for my first show at NEYT I've been making friends with an amazing group of people. And then when the kids from Birmingham, England came over and one of them stayed at my house, I made 6 friends I knew I would keep for life. The people you meet at NEYT is a big reason I have continued to do shows.
