Aladdin and His Magic Lamp
Directed by Stephen Stearns
NEYT presents a melodrama style production of Aladdin and His Magic Lamp, directed by Stephen Stearns and Julianne Kaplan. Packed with great characters, suspense, slapstick comedy, mystery, magic and madcap chase scenes, this show will feature NEYT's younger actors employing the classic Gould & Stearns style mime and clown techniques. See an actor become a talking crystal ball, a sultan who can't pronounce his words, actors who turn into a tornado alongside the poor barefoot boy and his nemesis, Zora, "the evil one"! This show will be a wild romp into the imagination of children who know that if you really believe, anything is possible. Appropriate for children above the age of four, this production will contain enough humor to entertain the parents and grandparents, too.
Fri July 25 at 7:30 pm, Sat July 26 at 3:30 pm & Sun July 27 at 7:30 pm. All seats are $7.
