Twelfth Night By Two     August 18 & 19 at 7:00
Directed by Peter Gould.
Touring June 25 to August 29

Rosa Palmeri and Aleda Bliss (both 19 years old) play ALL OF THE PARTS in this madcap version of Shakespeare’s immortal love-comedy "Twelfth Night," directed by Peter Gould. Out of the mayhem of a teenage girl’s bedroom, some of the Bard’s most popular characters--Malvolio, Sir Toby Belch, Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Viola, Maria, and Feste the clown--spring to exciting new life!
This unique two-person "Twelfth Night" first took audiences by storm on stage at the New England Youth Theatre on 2007, where enthusiastic crowds of all ages laughed and cheered till they were hoarse.
And now, the girls are packing up the show and taking it on the road. The show will run for two days only at NEYT then they will be off to Scotland for the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh and other venues in Europe.

“My 8-year-old daughter didn't miss a tic of this 15th century plot, while the adult humor and poignant social matter, appropriately, went over her head to be met by my appreciative seasoned ear. It was play time for both young and old.”
Brattleboro Reformer

“It is the first time in 51 years that he was laughing so hard he could not hold the tears back, his face was absolutely awash with them!”
letter from Trish Selbach

“ What is so remarkable about this production is not simply the acting prowess of these young women, but their ability to completely transform voice, carriage and countenance from one moment to the next ...”
Anne Lawrence Guyon, Rutland Herald
