Lin Snider
Lin Snider (AEA, SAG-AFTRA, SDC) has performed in cabaret, TV, film and onstage in regional theaters, Off-Broadway and in the National Tour of ANYTHING GOES with Mitzi Gaynor. She can be seen on Youtube in the limited series, UNTOLD GENIUS and is now performing in NYC in readings of a new comedy, MEM-NOIRES. As a director, musical director and teacher she has worked at, among others, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYU, SUNY Purchase, and with several children's theater and professional acting companies. She was on the faculty of Yeshiva College from 2006 - 2020 where she directed 26 full productions and taught many theater courses. She has co-written two children’s musicals and developed many scripts with young performers. She is returning this summer for her sixth summer as a director with the Actors Theatre Playhouse in West Chesterfield, New Hampshire. MSW - Columbia University. MFA - Theater - Brooklyn College. She loves helping people of all ages find and share the creative forces within themselves, to open themselves to being responsive to and supportive of those sharing the ensemble work of the theater, and to then share the plays’ stories with wider audiences.
