Under Milk Wood

By Dylan Thomas

Directed by Doran Hamm, assisted by Ben Stockman

June 20 -21

Sponsored by New Chapter

Under Milk Wood, written by the renowned beatnik poet Dylan Thomas, is a stunning poetic play of voices. Set in a small fishing village on the coast of Wales, the play introduces a variety of characters who reside in and beneath the town.
This funny, charming, lyrical, bawdy play entices you into the realm of your own imagination. Don't miss NEYT founder, Stephen Stearns, and Peter Gould as Voice 1 and Voice 2, joined by a dream cast of ten alumni playing over seventy characters! Under Milk Wood is part vignette, part staged reading, part bewitching bedtime story that will take you down a road between dream and nostalgia to a place you have never been.
