Based on the 1961 novel by Norton Juster, The Phantom Tollbooth follows the boredom-stricken Milo on an incredible journey into a magical world of literalisms, where idioms themselves can be allies and antagonists alike. Assisted on his quest by companions like Tock the Watchdog and the Spelling Bee, Milo sets out to restore the fractured Kingdom of Wisdom by mending the feud between the cities of Dictionopolis and Digitopolis and saving the imprisoned princesses Rhyme and Reason.
