This program offers a more intensive and rigorous theatre experience for our senior company students. This is a three-week immersion program exploring a literary classic. Participants ages 13-19 are given the support they need to develop their skill with language, voice, and physical story-telling as they rehearse a fully produced play. Join Dave and Francesca to work on lighting, sound, and scenic elements for the summer season of shows. Participants will be asked to use power tools, hand tools, paint tools, carry possibly heavy things, work collaboratively, have keen listening skills, pay strong attention to details, and be ready to have fun and get messy. Ready to build your musical theater skills? In this camp, students explore singing, dancing, acting, audition technique, and “acting the song” through scenes, solos, and duets. The program ends with a Family Sharing where campers can show off what they’ve learned. Learn More

In this camp, performers will create a character from the inside out while exploring drag as a powerful performance tool. Through costume, makeup, staging, and collaboration, participants will develop and perform original acts while examining how playing with gender can challenge stereotypes and inspire bold storytelling. This summer, campers will learn how a production is costumed. Learn about and experience the entire process: reading the script, pulling costumes, fittings and alterations, and crewing the performances! This camp will run concurrently with Melodrama and campers will be guided by Monika Grist Weiner as they learn about and costume a real production. Learn More

Playing heroes, villains, and fools, students make big, bold, silly choices while building vocal, physical, and comedic skills through theater games, improv, and clowning. Melodrama Edition

Introduction to Run crew camp is for those who love to move things, push buttons when requested, and overall support the actors on stage in live performance. Possible positions include light board operator, sound board operator, and backstage run crew. As this is an introduction, participants will learn everything they need to know about their backstage jobs to be successful supporters of the performance during the course of this camp. Waitlist

This program offers a more intensive and rigorous musical theatre experience for our senior company students. This summer, participants will learn, rehearsal, and perform a complete musical, with the support needed to develop vocal, dance, and acting skills. Students of all abilities are welcome.
