Join Dave and Francesca to work on lighting, sound, and scenic elements for the summer season of shows. Participants will be asked to use power tools, hand tools, paint tools, carry possibly heavy things, work collaboratively, have keen listening skills, pay strong attention to details, and be ready to have fun and get messy. This summer, campers will learn how a production is costumed. Learn about and experience the entire process: reading the script, pulling costumes, fittings and alterations, and crewing the performances! This camp will run concurrently with Melodrama and campers will be guided by Monika Grist Weiner as they learn about and costume a real production. Learn More

Melodrama Edition

Introduction to Run crew camp is for those who love to move things, push buttons when requested, and overall support the actors on stage in live performance. Possible positions include light board operator, sound board operator, and backstage run crew. As this is an introduction, participants will learn everything they need to know about their backstage jobs to be successful supporters of the performance during the course of this camp. Waitlist

Musical Theater Edition

Level up your tech abilities in this intermediate/advanced run crew camp. Participants will learn additional skills relating to their assigned backstage jobs as well as be able to learn about other jobs simultaneously. Participants are expected to have previous run crew experience. Learn More
